DRYING RETARDER Useful in watercolouring, water wash effects, stain painting, hardedge techniques and moisturising in hot weather. Gives flow control Drying Retarder 250ml $18.80
IMPASTO MEDIUM Excellent for brush stroke, knife work, impasto painting techniques. Water resistant, non-crack and low-sheen. No visual colour loss with up to 50/50 dilution. Impasto Medium 250ml $18.80
SURFACE TENSION BREAKER Increases flow properties and facilitates colour penetration into absorbant paper or fabric grounds (ie. raw canvas). Suitable for stain painting and water wash applications. Surface Tension Breaker 250ml $18.80
GEL MEDIUM (HEAVY BODIED) A clear transparent colour extender, great for brilliant coloured glazes and as a transparent impasto for thick 3-D brush and knife applications. Dries to a glossy finish. Can be used as a size, clear primer or a 'workable' final finish. Gel Medium 250ml $18.80
MATT MEDIUM For intermixing Matisse colours, will flatten the low sheen effects, for a tempera look. Good for hard edge painting, helps eliminate side sheen and accidentally highlighted brush strokes. Not a varnish. Matt Medium 250ml $18.80
MATT VARNISH POLYMER (WATER BASED) Produced as a low sheen protective finish coating, intermixable with Polymer Gloss Varnishes. Water resistant and non-scuff. MJS307 Matt Varnish Polymer 250ml $18.80
POLYMER GLOSS VARNISH & GLOSS MEDIUM (WATER BASED) Both a gloss finishing varnish and a glossy additive. Varnish gives the appearance of oil paints or shiny enamel. Used as an acrylic binder when diluting and great for glazing techniques Polymer Gloss Varnish & Gloss Medium 250ml $18.80
SPREADER MEDIUM Used to dilute Matisse colour to infinity, increasing tranparency and water sensitivity to paint film. Soft colour hues and delicate tones can be achieved. Spreader Medium 250ml $18.80
PAINTING MEDIUM (WATER BASED) Improves adhesion to non-absorbant surfaces, ie. steel, copper, etc. Imperative for exterior murals to avoid weather erosion. Protects from losing binder when paint is heavily diluted with water. Also transparent primer and surface conditioner. Painting Medium 250ml $18.80
