Gesso Primer - A brilliant white, flexible
students painting ground for canvas, paper, masonry, etc. Strong white ground

- Time-tested traditional method of first
glue-sizing then oil priming the canvas.
* Shellac Flakes -
Orange Shellac, soluble in alchohol. Used
as sizing for porous surfaces, as an isolating layer between films of paint
in certain techniques and for French polishing. Completely insoluble in
mineral spirits and turpentine. Disolve in metholated spirits to desired
consistancy.
* Whiting - Natural calcium carbonate, used as an base or extender
in oil painting. Best used in water-based mediums and glue sizes where it
retains its whiteness, i.e. Gesso.
* Paint

* Helmar
Crystal Kote Fixative - For pencil,
pastel, chalk, charcoal, water colours, tempera & ink. Clear, permanent

Solvents are used to dilute
tube colour and clean up materials. Most are flammable and contact with skin
& eyes should be avoided.
* Tiki
Packaging Tape - Medium duty vinyl tape. Great
for taping up all sort of boxes, parcels, etc. Water resistant.

Tape - A buff, lightly creped paper
masking tape which has excellent conformability to irregular surfaces. Thin
enough to avoid excessive paint build up to edges. Resistant to water,

Tape - Used when stretching paper for
watercolour as well as many other uses. Wet back with sponge and place down.
* Framing Tape - As the name suggests, used on the back of frames for
covering the gap between backing board and frame.
* Tiki Double
Sided Adhesive Tape - A double sided
tissue tape, coated both sides with adhesive and interleaved with release
paper.
* Scotch Magic
Tape - Magic tape has a matt finish which
can be written on with ink, pencil or marker. Invisable when applied.

Magic Tape - Excellent for temporary
adhesion, masking out an artwork, positioning, etc.
* Windsor &
Newton Artists' Varnishes - A modern
general purpose varnish. It is a clear, flammable liquid which dries to a
non-yellowing film.
* Windsor &
Newton Superfine Retouching Varnish - The
traditional varnish for temporary protection of fresh paintings. It is a pale
yellow liquid which dries quickly to a gloss finish. Thin with white spirit.
* Polyurethane - An excellent all purpose polyurethane for any surface.
Does have a yellowing effect.

Polyurethane Water Based Varnish - Protect
your finished piece with two satin sheen coats of this beautiful varnish that
