An oil medium with greater freedom and depth of expression. "Excellent
for stencil work." Paintstiks perform beautifully with all conventional
oil paints. All the same techniques you are accustomed to can be used. Ideal
for quick spontaneous sketches - no mixing, no pallet, no brushes,
lightweight and easy to carry.
PROTECTIVE FILM - Each Paintstik has a protective film that must be
removed before they are used. this film reforms after use to keep the
Paintstik from drying out wile not in use. Simply place the tip of the
Paintstik into Turpentine or mineral spirits before applying to the surface.
WORKABILITY - The Paintstiks slow drying time allows the colours to
stay workable for extended periods without using retarders. Many colours will
stay workable for several hours.
USE ON FABRICS - Before applying Paintstiks to fabrics, wash fabric to
remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener or bleach when laundering. Wait at
least 48 hours before you heatset both sides of the fabric. 10 seconds on the
highest heat safe for the fabric.
SAFE TO USE - Paintstiks are non-toxic, safe to use.
